The Neo Geo competed with the PS1. Sure, it got released during the previous gen but sales continued throughout the whole following generation as well. There's a reason why games where still made for the system long after the Playstation was released.

Other's have pointed out the utter fallacy of this statement, but just looking at the operating income of both companies, tells you how absolutely absurd that statement is.  You should take a gander at Sony/Nintendo's operating income/profit.  And remember, Sony is a hell of allot bigger than just it's games division (which isn't remotely close to it's biggest money maker).

I know, I know. You should just have read a few posts later where I explained already that I was being Hyperbole just to point out that those 60 Millions would have been peanuts for Nintendo
