No elections, no private businesses, thousands of political opponents jailed, and an authoritarian position over housing and consumer goods shortages. There is a reason hundreds of thousands of Cubans left for the USA when Castro took over. Cuba, under Castro, was one of the most corrupt states in the world. If you can claim that you'd like to live under Castro and that 40+ years of recorded history from multiple sources is a lie, is groundless, and is pure propaganda; then by all means see what your wall looks like when you're done painting. I for one would never want to live under Castro.

Look at columbia recentley, a US ally since forever and they have found mass graves of 300+ people, most of them were killed by the goverment forces who were trained by CIA. Isnt it supposed to be a country that should have freedom because its a close US ally in the region?
So a lot of people are fleeing cuba to the US, but its far less than mexico. Again shouldnt mexico be a paradise since its an US ally? Yet cuba is richer than mexico despite all the sanctions and harrassement from the US. Why else you think obama removed the sanctions, its because the US knows their current strategy failed so they want to trade with them.
The US is not a democracy,the clintons are going to rule that country since 3 generations, you have to belong that clique to get ellected now. Democracy is falling everywhere apart. I would much rather live in cuba than all the other latin american countries who most of them are close US allies.
