that was always the case and it was obvious. after the XB1 launch fiasco Don Matrick was made the scape goat and phil was painted as "the good guy". it was obviously a PR spin. dont get me wrong, all companies do it. Sony did it with Cerny and Shu, and Nintendo tried to do it with Riggie.
the thing is, even in the 360 days phil was in charge of MS's first party output. i didnt see any of this talk back then. this "more first party and more diversity" talk sure as hell was apperant back in the 360 days.
