What does SNAFU stands for?

Edit: I googled it.

Anyways, at least Vita, unlike the PSP, still has lots of games coming every year even though Sony has almost abandoned it. So you can say that Sony in a way kept their promise. I mean, they are not making huge AAA games but they are either porting games (RE: R2) or encouraging developers (third parties and indies) to bring their games (also) to Vita.

Yeah, PSP definitely had a lull in releases in the middle, but I feel Sony did keep the momentum going.  2009 especially had a bit of a revival (LBP; Jak & Daxter; Motorstorm; Resistance) which carried on until 2010 (God of War; Modnation; SOCOM).  That's a hell of a lot more than Vita is getting 4-5 years after launch (which would be next year anyway, when I predict we'll get... nothing.

Though, I do appreciate the home console porting personally.  I hope we see more of it.

Yeah, PSP had a couple of good games at the beginning and at the end. However, it was like just a dozen titles per year. Some of them were good (like the ones you mentioned), and some others were utterly crap (I'm looking at you Jak and Daxter).

But Vita doesn't have dozens of games coming every year, it literally has lots of games coming every month. And yeah, Vita doesn't have a lot of AAA Sony titles nowadays, but it has a lot of Third Party (mostly Japanese) titles.

PD: I'd love Gio Corsi to port any of these to Vita: South Park the Stick of Truth, Journey, Heavy Rain, Metro 1&2, Twisted Metal (PS3). And those are fair choices, I know games like GTA, The Last of Us, GT6, and so on, are way too big to be ported.
