What gaming generation was the first console that you played?

Dude... That's a very hard question.

Super Mario World was my first game ever, so I spend a lot of my childhood playing it. I also love the Donkey Kong Country trilogy (Especially the third one), Super Street Fighter II and Yoshi's Island.

I used to rent some games. Chrono Trigger was by far my favorite.

I never had a Sega Genesis, but a friend of mine had one. I used to like the first Sonic the Hedgehog and Quackshot Starring Donald Duck.

Oh it's a brutal question. I have a solid 10 games from SNES alone I could pick on any given day. 

I usually stick with the Chrono Trigger and Super Metroid answer though.
