Its also worth mentioning that Konami have bet1 the farm on current legislation going through the Japanese government to legalise casinos and gambling in general. In Japan, Pachinko machines (where credit is exchanged for prizes) and certain types of Lottery and Sport (which are state controlled) is the only gambling available, unlike in for example the USA where gambling is legal in several states (most notably Nevada). Their gambling division is mostly export and their recent focus on it is aimed at Casinos becoming legal in Japan.
Basically if the legislation fails, Konami are going to lose a hell of a lot of their investment in the divison.
