Why buy a charge kit when you can just buy 4 rechargable AA batteries? 

I thought about rechargeable batteries but I got a good deal on the X1 controller + charge kit. I do like the charge kit though, and I can use it for more than 15hr's with charging it. The Wii U Pro controller has a much better battery life though.
