I said Graphics "Contribute" to immersivness , GTA is actualy one of the most immersive games on the PS3/360 because of the level of detail it's able to achieve , the open world and active enviroment all contribute to the immersivness of the game. Wii Sports is hardly immersive , and it doesn't need to be either , Immersive =/= Sales. I think your definition of immersive is slightly messed up. How many times has the word been said in this thread lol.

Then answer me, which game was more immersive, SotC or Halo 3, GoW or Ninja Gaiden Zigma??, this gen is full of nice graphics games, but there is more examples of great games with poor graphics with high levels of immersive gameplay, Wii sport is the best example, the success is not for the graphics, is for the immersion caused by the the new way of interaction...
GTA series is a nice example too, with poor graphics the game provides a great level of immersion due to the interaction and the history...
