Wii U droughts are specific because that were Nintendo first HD console, so those first games were first HD games for them.
Nintendo is now very familiar with HD, also they merged handheld and home console teams and If NX is really a shared platform or just one hybrid device, then majority of same games will be available on home and handheld or on hybrid device.
So NX will be in much better situation than Wii U, maybe even platform with best Nintendo support because there will no be need for separate support for handheld specific and separated support for home console specific, no more divided support.
