Your usage of failed is suspect. Every one has the rights to withhd information aslong as its not harmful to anyone or virtually one that does implicates yourself. And Rushy even said" look what turned up today" at his first tweet. Maybe he knew it but he wanted to show everyone the plaque of selling 2 million sold first as physical evidence that they indeed sold that much. Everyone has their ways of doing things.
E3 week would be a mess to announce things especially if you are not showing anything new. It would get buried with the megatons shown during PS conference.
