With Driveclub's success, what does it says about PS4 needing critical acclaim to sell games?

Lol who should we believe in then? The game creator who posted it sold through 2M units before Driveclub's PS+ version went live or a random vgchartz forum member with no credentials/connections to Sony,NPD,GFK, Mediacreate/Famitsu etc?
