If you're gonna use the tax argument, you should know death penalty costs more than life in prison...

We can cut down on that. We don't have to make the death penalty "painless". Just put a bullet through the head. $2 right there. If they killed someone I'm sure they'd love to know what it's like to be on the receiving end. Hell, maybe we could start using the guillotine again and perform public executions and charge people to watch. Make money off of it.
