The witcher is an awesome game I've really enjoyed it but it's also one of those games which has come from a big novel of numerous books that started in the early 90s, it's a carry on from the final novel and to me if you haven't read them books then your only experiencing a very very small part of the whole story. The witcher (novel) is up there with the very best of fantasy novels and you learn a hell of a lot more reading them and it makes the games so much better with better emersion as you understand a lot more of the events and conversations that go on in the games. There's parts and conversations that people will listen to but won't relate to what there talking about if they haven't read the books.
