It's obvious at this point that Konami can't or doesn't want to deal with Kojima's level of investments. That might have worked like charm during PS1/PS2 eras, but everyone knows development prices have skyrocketed. This split is good for Kojima if he wants to keep his artistic freedom. Sony fans obviously want him to go with Sony, but their financials woes will hold him back. I think there's only one company with deep enough pockets to truly fulfill Kojima's visions: Microsoft.

Ok, I accept that the only reason I want to see Kojisoft is for the massive fanboy meltdown. It would be glorious. >:)
