what you're not getting is that they simply took off a ban on systems but they still have almost all of the 'dangerous' software banned. it's a moot point

You know they can import games right? It's what the majority of core gamers do in China. Plus there are plans to localise additional games for Mainland. But in the meantime they just import Hong Kong version.
