It's like you want Nintendo to have another Wii U on their hands and have it not sell well and lose all 3rd party support. While you specifically might not care about 3rd party support on a Nintendo console that doesn't mean others agree with you. 

It doesn't contradict, I'm simply stating that the Hardware should be much better then WiiU in order to handle HD graphic better and It needs to be done at a budget price since Nintendo always target casual market and familly friendly. That's why the launch price should me more like the Wii which launch at $250. 

The NX is going to release either next year or the year after that, The PS4 and Xbox one will have a strong foot hold and a large install base. If you think that 3rd party are going to jump ship to support NX that doesn't have an establish install base, your are sadly mistaken. Nintendo itself is a 3rd party killer since they make some of the best games and Nintendo fans are more likely to buy first games. That's why I think the NX should be more powerful then WiiU in order to receive quick port from 3rd party but they in order to get the right MSRP the NX is not going to be more powerful then PS4 or Xbox One. 

I only stating my opinion but looking at Nintendo history it's more likely that Nintendo will follow the casual friendly approach and have a machine that's more cost effective then costly and super powered.

why would anyone "jump ship"? 3rds don't have to abandon anything in order to be professional.
