GTA is not a "casual" game!

Nice write up. I definitely agree with you somewhat, although I feel that the dichotomy between casual and hardcore is not always so rigid. Indeed, GTA is one of the few games out there that successfully manages to encompass both genres, which clearly contributes to its popularity.
