I do understand the "It won't sell on XB1" argument, but in the end...... it's FF7. The game is definitetly noteworthy enough to have an audience on XB1 regardless of how a fairly niche HD port sold. If Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming to XB1 having never released on an Xbox console before, then I don't see why this remake wouldn't come either.
Someone on GAF said this was another SF5 situation with Sony funding the game, but if that were true then why would Sony be shy about that fact? They came right out and said that SF5 would never release on XB1. If they were funding this remake then what's stopping them from telling us what everyone's assuming?
The "Play it first on..." wording is suspicious as well. Why point that out if it's never coming to the other console? The wording isn't really necessary if it's only coming to PC.
