The problem is that it's not their own skin. That's what makes it unattractive.

Ummm.. A person can be whoever the hell they want to be. It's their life. So yea, it kinda is their own skin. 


Yeah, I can be a lion in my own mind, but lions won't find me attractive.

 

And regardless of what they believe their own "skin" is in their mind, a normal person is not going to find someone attractive after they realize that person is a falsified appearance of someone in their own gender. That doesnt make them a shitty person.
