1990? If Square Enix was serious about expanding to the West they'd have localized DQ VII & VIII to the West by now (on 3DS).
Why would a franchise after 20 years all of a sudden become popular in the West? When has that ever happened? Just because they claim they want to expand their franchise doesn't make it true. Actions speak louder than words. I suggest we ignore PR talk into this discussion, because it's just that, PR talk.
