I might pick up the current version as is, depending how bad the technical issues are and for a low price. It doesn't look like it takes itself too seriously and the gameplay seems to be pretty crazy. So as long as the game is enjoyable then I'll bite but with a budget price.
But like I said, I'll be looking out for the reception of the game from Youtubers and from friends. If the gameplay is a stinker then I'll be staying far away.
