To buy OTHER Microsoft products or not?

That is the question!

Sure, if you are big Xbox fan, you may be more inclined to buy other MS products, but do you?  Beyond Xbox, MS now makes a large number of products people use every day.  Cell Phones, Tablets, Commercial Grade presentation equipment, Fitness Bands, Computer Accessories (keyboards/Mice), Computer Software – Office/Skype/Games, Cloud Storage.  With Windows 10 coming soon, almost all of the MS products will have a very seamless integration between them by next year.  That should make buying into the MS ecosystem much easier for some, and even more of a reason to exclude them for others.

For the Xbox haters or PS Fanboys, does your hate extend to other MS products by default?  Do you just automatically exclude MS products from your possible purchases?  Or is console gaming one thing and the rest of your life another?

So, do you buy MS products when given the choice?

I am not a big Xbox fanboy (I do own all 3 of their consoles, but I buy all the consoles from all manufacturers), but I am a MS products guy.  I turn 45 later this year and I used some of the very first MS-DOS computers up through what is available today.  So, I have a “little experience” with them.  I currently own 2 Lumia Cell Phones, 3 Surface tablets, a MS Band, all 3 Xbox consoles, multiple different MS office packages and of course a number of MS studios games for PC and I am a big Onedrive user.  I have been running different versions of Windows 10 for the last 8 months and can’t wait for the final release update for all of my PCs and tablets. I have also been running Win 10 on my Phone the last month or so.  It seems that there may be a few months before that is really ready.  What I like most about these products, is that they all seem to be coming together in the last few years.  All of them just work together.

I am not exclusive to MS, as I also own Iphones/Ipads/Apple TV and Kindles/Fire TV.  I have or had just about every console/handheld released in the last 25 years and many before that.  I have had some of the original Apple computers and even the Commodore computers back in the day.

It is near the end of the end....
