Btw, continuing from the other topic
I read that SE actually lost the rights to PE at some point, which is why 3rd Birthday is not called PE, and also why the plot changed so much (removed the whole mitochondria thing). The core plot of the old games revolved around the novel's concepts, and they can no longer use that. So unless they re-acquired the rights, a remake of 1 can't be done. It basically needs to be its own universe, not "PE".
