Having your own opinion is fun, you should try it.

That is why there are reviews, to steer us away from terrible games. And a metascore of 44 is very definitive - it's a bad game.

Now, the game that scores 65-70, with a wide range of scores and reviews (example of much debated The Order) is a game that should be played to pass personal judgment. Some people think it was great, some think it was good, some that it was bad or even crap - but they played it.

Game like this (or Godzilla) is obviously bad, why waste money and time to find out the obvious.
