Would you hire a transgender if you were the boss of a store?

I would hire he or she based on how well they can do the job. They would be held to the same standards as anyone else. However, as someone has said already, unfortunately people may not be tolerant and as a result sales would suffer. In that case I would have to dismiss this person.
