It's not hard to see that PSNow and EA Access are not the same thing, if you know what PSNow is.
What you don't understand is that ok, EA Access is a good value for some people (I couldn't care less personally, I play one EA game per year tops), but it's the possible future that is worrying. Don't forget that their job is to make money, and to find new ways to make more money. They're not a charity. That's why I talked about DLCs earlier.
At the beginning, DLCs were a good thing. We had expansion packs to buy, and then some downloadable content for free, mods, some aesthetic content, etc... Cool things and a lot of great value. And now, we have episodic games and games in kits, pay to win content, games that you can't play entirely without paying anything more, and games with so little content you have to wait for DLCs to really enjoy the game.
Same things with patches. Years ago, it was great! Your game has a glitch in it? Don't worry, with internet we can fix it even after the game's release, that's cool! It's great to be able to fix some mistakes! And now? Now we have broken games finished without quality control, now we have games barely playable without a few patches. Now we have Batman PC.
That's why some of us are being really careful about EA Access. Be careful what you wish for and what you support. 5 dollars a month can become 30 or more if all publishers get on board. And why not add value to it to get new members, with exclusive content for Access members, like exclusive DLCs, exclusive multiplayer mode, or "early access" for weeks or even months. And hey, with all that great content, you can't complain if we raise the price a bit. Everyone should join anyway, it's a great value for the true video games experience. All these advantages, it's a great time to be a gamer, isn't it?
That was my point earlier. It's great that you enjoy EA Access. But I'd still be careful about where it can/will lead the video game industry. We've seen enough examples now to learn this carefulness.
