hey guys, i know we are only half way through this year, but i think we pretty much know the rest of the remasters that are coming out this year, like prototype, the uncharted collection, god of war, gears of war, beyond: two souls, etc. there may be some surprise announcemnt at some point, but basically the idea here is that what remasters are you hoping to see next year?
i made a list of a couple games that im crossing my fingers for a remaster next year
lets cut to the chase here, this game is amazing, and if you disagree then the only explanation is that you worship satan. this game was originally released in 2007, and i know that is only about 8 years ago, but a lot of the younger generation may have skipped out on it. they need to learn about chopin, the great penist. there is no reason they shouldnt remaster this game.
heavy rain was a great mystery game. the ending was crazy and unexpected, but i think that they did their best to try to conceal who the origami killer was at the expense of having certain things make sense, which was the only flaw in the game imo. the most notable feature of this game, however, was the graphics. lets be honest, that is really what hyped us up about this game in the first place. imagine a remaster utilizing the entire power of the ps4. the graphics can be even better, and the framerate can be locked at 60.
why not? gears of war 1 was remastered this year, so its only fitting that gears of war 2 be remastered last year. the original gears was originally released in 2006, almost ten whole years ago (i know, time flies), so all the younger players who missed out on the original get to experience it. well, what if they want to see what happens in subsequent gears games? what if they skip out on gears of war 4 becuase they need to see what happens in gears of war 2 and 3 first? it can hurt the sales of the game. so this game at the very least needs to be remastered, and then maybe they can work on remastering gears 3.
ok, now i know some of you may not agree that this should be remastered, but i think it should be just for cash grab purposes. this game can make a quick buck because after people play the rare replay, they may want to go back and try this game out. so if it gets remastered, they will be able to see what this is all about. again, this one would just mainly be to make some money to fund other projects, but you need some of those too to keep the industry going.
