soldiers die, that's sort of part of their job - has the flag been at half-staff during all the recent wars the USA was involved in?

Did you even read the three examples that I posted?  

Boston Marathon bombing -  Random civilians

Sandy Hook Elementary School - Children

Fort Hood Texas - Soldiers at an American military base

All of those examples were shootings at different targets, resulting in the flag be put at half-staff under President Obama.

Now we have 4 marines and one sailor dead at a marine recruiting center in Chattanooga Tennessee. How is that any different from Fort Hood Texas?  You have military personnel that are livid that President Obama didn't put the flag at half-staff.  That speaks volumes....
