I think it's been compared to The Witcher 3, but it doesn't have any specific zones or loading times.
That's what Shinobi602 (guy who accurately leaked info about the game, like it having a redheaded female lead and the robo-dinosaurs). Herman Hulst has compared it to recent open world titles already out, so Witcher 3 would be about the most recent to when Horizon was announced.
Large, but I guess we'll see maps and proper comparisons in scale.
Personally I'm hoping there's a nice bit of density and you'll be able to explore old sky scrapers, caves and there's height as well as width to the world.
