Not true at all. I could boot up and play mass effect 2 on the 360 without having played the first game. It just had a default choices programmed in for people that hadn't played it.
Im not really sure what you are trying to argue now. Are you saying the bonus content has to be good or extremely relevant in order to be considered bonus content?
