It's really a great game, without PS+ I would never have played this gem.
But I am not sure Microsoft would agree the cross-play between XB1 and steam/PS4 (well except when it's their own game). They still have the usual "come talk to us" bullshit.
War thunder devs: "Microsoft is not allowing cross-play completely; which means [War Thunder] cannot be on Xbox One," Yudintsev told GameSpot at GDC last week in San Francisco."
Microsoft PR:
"For developers interested in enabling cross-platform game play between Xbox One and PC, we work with them closely to meet their development needs and ensure a great user experience."

Now that PS4 can play with PC gamers, Microsoft would have to agree the cross play with...PS4 if they agree with Steam cross play.
