I just can't believe this is true or even close to true with regard costs. A young man like this could live a further 60 years in jail and the appeal process is still there for people with a life sentence. Why on earth would they even consider a complaint about jell-o desert at that level.
I totally accept that the appeals process needs to be there though and thorough and can see this would be expensive but there should still be huge savings over a life sentence without parole.
I have no sympathy or empathy for scum like this. Throughout human history we have made up ridiculous reasons to be prejudice against different countries, races and genders but this is one area where we need more prejudice and hatred. Those that ruin and destroy the lives of others.
