It's worth noting that this is also a 3DS game, so its appearance in both lists effectively nullifies it. Looking at your list of Vita games, it does have a strong and very different library from the 3DS, which is great. Lots of visual novels there, only a couple good ones (Ace Attorney, Zero Escape) on 3DS. Lots of decent licensed anime games on Vita, most of the 3DS ones seem pretty lousy by comparison. Vita definitely carved itself a niche... is it disparaging to call it an Otaku platform? I don't mean it in a negative way. Lots of good stuff for people who are into that. |
Meh, figured I'd add it in since nobody really mentioned it yet for either platform. And yes Vita definitely favors the Otaku crowd. Which is great for me I guess since I seem to like those kinds of games. Hopefully the localizations keep coming since I'd love to get Tokyo Xandau, Ys 8, Ray Gigant, Dragon Quest Heroes, Dragon Quest Builders, Digimon World: Next Order, Yoru no Nai Kuni, God Eater 2 ect. etc. the list goes on and on.
