Couple of interesting things I came across on GAF today.  Old post about the localized version of Eiyuu Senki (which is coming out on PS3 in the west):

Thanks for all the positive comments. Licensing this game has been a surprising development for us as well. If you can imagine that. :)

It will be our first console release. Before that we localized three indie Japanese games for PC. With the third one's Steam release next week, they will all be available through Steam and almost all other digital distributors.

Vita version of Eiyuu Senki is going to be released in Japan at the end of this month. We will be working on the PS3 version which was released six months ago. This does not mean that we will stop working on PC either, we have very good news on that department coming very soon.

We will consider a Vita release based on the success of the PS3 one, but I want to note that we received a surprising amount of demand for the Vita version. Considering it is not even released yet...

And Victor Ireland (Gaijinworks) about his future plans:

MAC: What about the Vita? Is it the system most likely for you to jump on or will consoles like the PS3 or PS4 more likely?

VI: We're actually looking at, negotiating for, or working on games for PS Vita, PS3 and PS4, so it's pretty likely you're going to see something from Gaijinworks on all those platforms. We're riding this PSP train to the bitter end, trying to rescue as many 'lost' or 'abandoned' PSP JRPGs as we can before that's impossible, but the curtain is coming down on that, so we've been working on the transition from a dead platform to merely a legacy platform, and then current platforms. You most-likely won't hear even an announcement about any of those until 2016, though.
