So you're predicting handhelds will be dead in two years from now?

By saying something like that you're also saying the following:

- Pokémon will die in 2 years from now.

- So will Yo-kai Watch

- So will Monster Hunter

- So will Animal Crossing

- The death of Tomodachi Life

- The death of Fire Emblem

- The death of Mario & Luigi rpg series

Yeah, sorry if I don't take you too seriously.

Also lol at the users who are trying to spin the failure of the Vita into something good... Console with the second most games coming up? I seriously doubt it unless that list includes a lot of shovelware games.

I didn't mean a couple as in "two" but as in "some" and if you think the dedicated handheld market isn't facing serious issues then you really don't seem to have paid any attention in the last few years.

Also I don't expect all those franchises to die, they can easily move to mobile.

Have you even played any of these games? You do realize they're designed around consoles with buttons right? Do you even know how the mobile market works? Hint: $40 games don't sell and piracy is huge.

Sony and MS will be long gone from the home console market before Pokémon released its final game. I just hope they invent some new colors in the meantime.

In fact with the rise of digital games and streaming services I wouldn't be surprised at all if handhelds outlived home consoles.

But hey, I'm sure God of War can easily move to mobile if Monster Hunter will do the same.
