I got The Last of Us for my PS3 launch day. I remember getting home and being slightly hyped but mostly I had a feeling of not knowing what to expect. For me I remember thinking it was kinda slow to start... I could feel those feelings of being let down creeping on in.. Then around the time (spoiler?) the bad thing happens to Tess... Things just picked up.. The tension was so thick. The atmosphere was off the charts. Watching the relationship between Joel and Ellie form right in front of me... I felt invested.. I felt a part of it. It was truly a magical ride that I don't see any other game ever doing to me again. It was just something special. When I got a PS4 the the bundle they had on sale happened to be one with a free TLOU voucher. So I have it again remastered. Haven't played much of the Remaster but this thread has made me want to start it again tonight!
