Yes, I am very much into metal...have been since the early 90s. Thrash, Death, Black, Power, Traditional, Industrial, Gothic/Doom, and offshoots of each.

I was into Melodic Death Metal in the late 90s, but many of the staple bands like In Flames and Soilwork went off the deep end and then metalcore bands stole certain aspects and pussified it up. But I still love pure melodic death metal. Bands like Mors Principium Est still fly the flag of MDM.

I'm generally not into nu-metal or metal core.
