The game look horrible last time they've shown it, but that was about a year ago. Guess not much progress was made, it was supposed to be spring 2015 release, got pushed back to spring 2016, my guess is we will see it no sooner than spring 2017...if ever.
Meanwhile Techland made an awesome game with Dying Light, awesome enough that nobody really cares what happens to DI2.
