Some yes, others I think are simply a byproduct of live streaming major games events (or streaming games in general).  Maybe they're being overly dramatic for the camera, but I think it's pretty fair to assume that many of them have serious 'wishes' when it comes to games, and certainly some will have bigger emotional responses to certain events presented in games.
