Anybody actually read the article?

'a comment that the Bush campaign argues was a reference to underemployed part-time workers'

But reading the article might make it less appealing to left voters.

That being said, people who vote on party lines and not on policies should be barred from voting.

Sorry man but that is not a proper reason to take away someone's voting rights.

In response to his comments about context... that is spin at its finest.  He said we need to work more hours, we need to be more productive.

The context in which he dilivered the comments was crazy and out of touch.  We work a lot of hours as is.  And the productivity of those hours has gone way up while wages have stagnated.  The problem is that we as a country are generating so much wealth, but our wages have not responded in kind.   Furthermore, its really crazy for someone how has made over $30 million in the last five years thinks that we are not productive enough.

Thats why people recoiled at his comment.  No matter how hard we work, we will probalby not come close to taking a slice of our own productivity that is ANY WHERE near a large as what he enjoys.  Does that mean we aren't working hard enough?

For most people its not about hours but the actual pay rate.  This is why every state that proposed a minimun wage increase and put it on a ballot in 2014 saw it succeed.  This shows that people want a higher portion of what they produce.  There is nothing crazy about it.
