With current CPUs, you're better with an Intel processor. When Zen launches things can change, but that will be in 2016.
When it comes to GPUs, I think there's no wrong here as both Nvidia and AMD offer similar performance for similar prices. It's a matter of features and what product is closer to your personal budget.
