I was genuinely concerned that the PS4 might have peaked in its first year, but the release of Arkham Knight (when compared to the release of Watch_Dogs) in conjunction with the numbers shown here seem to be indicating that no such thing occurred.

Under the assumption that there will be a somewhat imminent price cut, a six year life span, an eventual slim model, reasonable legs, and no significant external shock (i.e. the NX doesn't take the world by storm), I am now actually reasonably confident that the PS4 will sell over 130 million LTD. I don't think it will sell as much as the PS2, but it will easily be the second best selling home console to date.

I had my predictions set at 125 LT. Even so, quite the success for Sony! If anything, that in itself is an achievement, as no other platform will have the century mark in sales.
