"I see it as a positive if it's done to this quality. The demands and the ambition that the game makers have imposed upon themselves are very high; they've given themselves the task of creating something that's very entertaining, very exciting, and dramatic. So I think as long as we're trying to make material to a high standard, then it is good. If we're just going to use these characters as marketing devices that aren't particularly thought-through or exciting, then no. But that's not where we are, and that's the really exciting thing."

I agree with what he is saying, and I hope this rings true with LEGO. But so far, I'm very upset with the way how both the Daleks and K9 look. As I mentioned in a recent VGChartz article, I'm a huge Doctor Who fan. And the above Doctor Who character LEGO models look atrocious. I realize that most LEGO characters have a distinct LEGO look, but so does the Daleks and K9. Here is how the Daleks should look by Charatcer Building...
Granted that it might be a rights issue, a Dalek is a Dalek in looks and name. Don't eff it up, LEGO. And here is the TARDIS in LEGO Dimensions when compared to the Characted Building version...

LEGO Dimension above vs...

I'll reluctanly buy into the Lego Dimensions Doctor Who if it's of HIGH quality, and also the actual LEGO sets IF (big if) the good far outweighs the bad. I just hope fate shines on this for their sake and especially Doctor Who.
