The slide was added in 3, and the charge shot was added in 4.
The item power-ups were added in 2 and replaced with Rush in 3.
Otuside of those.... nothing changed. I have all the Mega Man games and love them.
ProtoMan and bosses don't count. I'm not counting Wart, Birdo, and the Koopa Kids as new gameplay elements.
