Almost all combat in the game consists of using your cricket bat to swing at enemies, using guns to shoot them and you can also push them away with your hands, all of which are done with buttons. Perhaps that's what happened. I did follow the game when it came out but that's obviously been a long time ago. I do remember a reviewer talking about the repetitive combat, though maybe it was just in general. Again, that's been quite awhile ago.
