So would I (and for other years), but for different reasons. In just the United States, the numbers for the Xbox One for the first 5 months are completely nonsensical.
NPD for November is 909k | VGC has it at 969k
NPD for December is 908k | VGC has it at 959k
NPD for January is 141k | VGC has it at 150k
NPD for February is 258k | VGC has it at 169k
NPD for November is 311k | VGC has it at 278k
What the fuck is that? Huge disparity in these sales for no reason, especially when almost all these numbers were reported by MS (except for January, which ironically is the closest to the actual number). Now though, added up the total results are almost the exact same, but the individual monthly sales paint a completely different picture that shouldn't even be there. After that, 2014 looks to be alright on a monthly basis except for the final 3 months, and so far 2015 has been nearly spot on, so why can't these months be changed as well?
Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287
