That's why charging people more money for gas is a good thing. Right now, people are already driving less and SUV use is going down.
We just need to start doing more by encouraging people by using cloth grocery bags by charging for the disposable ones (IKEA already does this), and having a higher CRV so it encourages people to recycle their cans more.
Americans won't do anything unless you hit their pocketbooks.
