True. But no doubt his comment will only enhance his image, he's one of few (and probably the most notable) politician to not sound like fox news when he talks about games. I may not be american and have no real say in their election, but I'd be really disappointed if Obama doesn't become the democrat candidate and then win the election. Not to be sexist or anything, but imo it's more important that America gets it's first non-white president. I know that there have been very notable Black leaders and even politicians (Dr. King and Mandela spring to mind) but they were obviously given alot of scrutiny and a lot of vilification. On the other hand there's been a few notable female leaders that haven't copped as much flack (Queen Elizabeth II, Prime Minister of NZL if she's still in office, not 100%). Political rant over. |
I don't get that line of reasoning... I mean there are plenty of black world leaders around... using outside countries to decide what would be more historically imporant to America based on others world leaders seems silly.
I would say that sexism is a more prevelant and widely held belief then racism in ,modern day America. Either way it's a silly reason to vote.
Of course since Hillary Clinton won't the election be about the issues i don't know anything about either democratic candiate other then Hillary planning to "annihlate Iran" if they do anything funny.
