lower resulotion just doesnt work with VR. if the game is 720p it will look hell of a lot pixliated on the VR screen, resulting in a bad experience.

Honestly I think even 1080p is going to look fairly bad when the screen on a VR headset is so close to your face. In this modern day where suddenly gamers think 900p or less is the ugly, I think alot of people are going to be dissapointed when they actually try a VR headset and realise that 1080p doesn't look like 1080p when it's just a few inches from your face. I'm just saying that Oculus on XB1 is theoretically possible if the resolution of a game is lowered to 800 x 900 or less per eye (Morpheus max is 960 x 1080 per eye by comparison). And now we have a developer who claims to be working on an XB1 VR game with Oculus.

the one who tried PR seem to disagree with you. they say the screen looks crisp enough. obviously a higher resulotion would be prefered, but it seems PM is providing a good experience.

and i get what you are talking, yes running an OR game on XB1 is technicially possible, but forgetting about the technicial achievment, the experience its self would be bad. and thats why i mean by saying that Xb1 cant run VR, not that it technicially it cant run it, but it cant give a good VR experience.
