As for your second point, native resolution of the headset doesn't matter, you can always dispay lower resolution games on higher resolution screen. You can play 720p games on a 1080p tv. There's no hardware limitation stopping XB1 from running lower res VR games on Oculus other than perhaps a lack of image split functionality, which could be solved by developing a splitter box for XB1.


lower resulotion just doesnt work with VR. if the game is 720p it will look hell of a lot pixliated on the VR screen, resulting in a bad experience.
